Doctor of Arts, certified art therapist, musician; with several years of experience working with adults, children and adolescents. Co-founder and inspirer of "Friendly Workshops" and a member of the "Psychiatry and Art" Association. She co-founded the art portal Artbay.pl. He has had individual and group exhibitions of painting and graphics to his credit. She deals with art therapy, runs her own practice "Art Therapy and Development - Patrycja Styrna", painting, teaching. For many years, he has been running his own artistic workshops for children, youth and adults, as well as art therapy and personal development workshops. She has extensive experience in working with children, youth and adults, both in terms of therapeutic, artistic, educational, workshop activities, or generally understood as an area related to psychology, psychosomatics and health; and I do creativity. He also conducts art therapy training for teachers, pedagogues and psychologists. During her doctoral studies, she collaborated with, among others, from the Psychooncology Center "Unicorn", where she conducted art therapy classes for patients, children and adults. On this basis, her doctoral thesis was also written. Her interests focus on the above-mentioned activities and the use of art in other fields of science, and the mutual penetration of these areas, which she has been developing for over a dozen years.
Born in 1978 in Krakow. She graduated from Art Education at the Faculty of Art of the Pedagogical University in Krakow, with a diploma in Workshop Graphics in the studio of prof. Marcin Pawłowski and the master's thesis under the supervision of Dr. Rafał Solewski "Reflections on the presence of the sacred in art. Icon and abstraction as examples of the presence of the sacred in the painting of the 20th century. Postgraduate "Art Therapy Methods" at Northwestern University in Chicago. She defended her doctorate on art therapy "Traces. Image as an experience of oneself in the creative process and art therapy", at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, in the 1st Interdisciplinary Studio under the direction of Prof. Zbigniew Bajek, with an annex in the Studio of Photography at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts under Lech Polcyn, PhD. Additionally, she obtained a certification of the Cracow Indoor and Outdoor Advert Arrangements and Designs studies, and the French Professional Make-up, Visage and Stylization School. Her work experience includes Fine Arts, Fine Arts Education, Art Therapy- work with adults, teenegers and children. Gains also workshops with children, conceptual work, graphic design and advertising. Created a portal with the Fine Arts Gallery and Auctions (www.artbay.pl). This website associates many artists and presents a vast variety of art categories. Additionally, promoted, managed and organized various live exhibitions.
